APV Paravap Plate Evaporators

The Paravap evaporator is a rising film evaporator utilizing APV plate heat exchanger technology. It is especially useful for making high concentrations of viscous products. It also is particularly good at concentrating foaming products. Small gaps and corrugated plate patterns plates create high turbulence and very high velocities which result in high heat transfer rates. Many times it is utilized as a finisher evaporator to achieve final concentration after a multiple effect evaporator.
