The APV Forced Circulation Evaporator utilizes a heavily recirculated plate heat exchanger with suppressed boiling. It is typically used for fouling or crystallizing products. High liquid rates combined with induced turbulence deters scaling on the heat transfer surfaces. The APV Forced Circulation Evaporator can configured in single or multiple effects for steam economy. Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) has also been utilized for maximum operating economy.
