DELTA CU ValveNet

		The DELTA CU Valve-Net is our new generation of control unit for valves, which makes intelligently distributed control possible via connection to a field bus. The DELTA CU Valve-Net is based upon an open system, which is compatible with all major PLC-brands. Full compatibility has been a major concern to us in developing the system, since we do not wish to tie our customers down to a specific PLC-brand. Furthermore, this compatibility makes DELTA CU Valve-Net ideal for extending or rearrangement of existing installations.

Cut cabling costs
It is possible to connect a group of valves by means of one single shared cable, which reduces installation costs, saves cable and cable trays and greatly simplifies electrical engineering and documentation.

Minimisingplant-down time
Because of improved information standard in combination with the built-in self-diagnostics and preventive maintenance functions.

Unique integration
The DELTA CU Valve-Net control unit consists of a moulded circuit board on which the electric components are mounted, e.g. the solenoid valve which controls the air supply and the Hall element which senses the valve position. All electric leads from the solenoid valve and the feedback indicator are connected to a terminal block from which the bus cable is conducted out and is equipped with a waterproof bus connector.

Clear signals
The DELTA CU Valve-Net ensures diagnostic at a glance by means of four light diode indicators visible through a transparent area at the side of the cover to display valve status.

Built-in intelligence
In addition to distributed control of valve activation and indication of actual position, the DELTA CU Valve-Net introduces a whole series of unique intelligent functions to the concept of valve control, e.g. registration of solenoid valve power consumption, bus voltage monitor, number of activations and installation time.

Robust design
The DELTA CU Valve-Net electronic unit is designed to match the tough conditions of the process industry. During all stages of design and construction great priority has been attributed to obtaining total resistance to water, damp, vibrations and electromagnetic noise.

Data security
The data in the DELTA CU Valve-Net are stored in a flash module. Flash technology means that the internal memory is maintained without an external power supply and without the need for internal battery.
