Our Homogenizer History
APV's 118 years of know-how in homogenization
Rannie
was established in 1892 under the name of Maskinfabriken Rannje,
whilst Gaulin was established a few years later, in 1909, with the
name of Manton-Gaulin.
The first homogenizer was introduced by Mr. Gaulin in 1900 at a dairy exhibition in Paris and in 1918 Rannie developed the first homogenizer.
In 1973 and 1987 APV acquired Gaulin and Rannie respectively, in 2008 APV was acqured by SPX, and have now become one of the world leaders for the manufacture of homogenizers and high-pressure pumps with production in Germany and USA.
