Lab Test Services

APV provides a range of homogenization equipment and facilities, which allow customers to test products and review how they will react to various testing parameters. Many physical and chemical properties of a product can be enhanced by homogenization and APV's well equipped and professionally staffed customer service facilities in Denmark and USA provide the ideal test environment. APV lab homogenizers help customers to simulate results for micro emulsions, suspensions and cell disruption. Test results can help customers to migrate to full-scale production, providing the opportunity to improve existing products and develop new ones with the desired mean particle size and narrow, uniform distribution. |
Offering two different lab homogenizer models; the APV-1000 with an operating pressure up to 1,000 bar (14,500 psi) and a nominal capacity of 22 l/h (6 gpg), and the APV-2000, which operates at 2,000 bar (29,000 psi) at a capacity of 11 l/h (3 gph). Both units are ideal for a wide variety of emulsions and suspensions. A detailed report describing the testing conditions and results of the analyses is issued after each test. The advantages of lab tests are obvious - the test results enable us to identify the homogenizer that is best suited to a specific application.
Our customer service laboratories are located within our manufacturing facilities, so that APV's research staff and food scientists are close at hand to provide assistance and help solve processing problems. Sample testing parameters can include particle size analysis, photomicrographs, viscosity measurement and stability.
Experienced APV staff work with customers to evaluate and interpret technical test data which has a significant impact on the success of a product.
