DELTA DF2 Mixproof Valve

		Meets U.S. Regulations for Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO) The APV Series DF2 Double Seat Valve is specifically designed to meet the needs of milk plants and related Grade A processes that conform to FDA/PMO (Pasteurized Milk Ordinance) guidelines. The double seat design allows the safe (i.e. mixproof) separation of product and CIP solutions within a single valve.

Features & benefits

• Valve is built in compliance with 3-A Standards.
• Valve incorporates a full line size leakage detection chamber.
• Complete separation of incompatible fluids by means of two automatically controlled valves (seats).
• Both valve seats are position detectable with feedback switch assemblies to detect valve disc movement.
• 3-A also requires that these feedback switch assemblies be incorporated into a "fail safe" control system. The detection of inappropriate valve disc position must be used to safely disable the particular process operation. This point is the responsibility of the end user.
• Valve insert is easily removed without disturbing the related piping.
• Valve housing can be welded directly into piping system for a completely contained process.
• Manual swing panels and hoses are eliminated for a simple, totally automated product and CIP system.
• Safely CIP while running product, thus maximizing equipment utilization and minimizing downtime.
• Rapid product changeovers increase system efficiency and reduce product loss.
