Fluid Ends
Only APV Homogenizers can offer you this combination of designs, materials and construction features. Ball or poppet valves may be selected depending on your application. The Gaulin liquid-end mono block provides an in-line flow pattern and minimizes the number of sealed areas. Top and front caps improve accessibility and simplify maintenance. Mono blocks are available with poppet or ball valves and can be supplied with double packed cylinders for aseptic processing. Designs meet all international specifications.

Poppet Valve Cylinder (TPS) is for low-viscosity, moderately abrasive products with the single most used application in the world being fluid milk. Additional applications include, low viscosity emulsions, ice cream mix and other dairy products.

Ball Valve Cylinder (TBS) is for high viscosity or abrasive products such as peanut butter, wax emulsions, lubricants and pigments.

Aseptic Double Packed Homogenizers are available for use in sanitary processing applications where sterile conditions must be met. They are designed for sterilization with steam or hot water with temperatures up to 140°C. For non-aseptic applications the double packed design is engineered for better containment of fugitive emissions (compounds that are pathogenic, toxic, radioactive, flammable, etc). It is also efficient in situations where valuable plunger coolants need to be collected, re-circulated or disposed of.

Three-Part Valve Housing The unique design of this APV valve housing allows pressure segregation from suction and discharge manifolds, reducing the possibility of breaking or cracking a valve housing block. Ball or poppet valves can be specified depending on the application. This valve is typically used for high-pressure applications.
