Fault finding and diagnostics Process and application packages contain comprehensive process and equipment diagnostics to simplify the task of identifying procedures in plant operation or equipment. These include Feedback checks on values Variance analysis against specification Analysis of downtime Operational efficiency Analysis of alarms Operating software includes a comprehensive set of diagnostic routines which provide detailed data on the internal performance of the system, showing any malfunctions which occur. This data is accessed via the diagnostic port on the ACCOS 31P CPU, using a personal computer or VDU, and includes: Memory tests (EPROM / RAM) CPU functions I / O module status Application program status Performance Data Total solutions mean more than just plant automation. Paracode is sequential in operation and comprises an English language instruction set (also available in other major European languages). Programs are developed by process engineers, providing a high productivity environment for software enhancement. Application programs are configured on a PC, using APV's comprehensive software tool kit which helps users in the preparation of data and in fault finding.
