ACCOS 30

		Plant Control System The ACCOS 30 is a high performance multi-processor system for process and supervisory control. Extensive communications software allows users to integrate a wide range of intelligent instrumentation and other smart devices. ACCOS 30 uses APV's Paracode language for the description and control of processes. It is also compatible with previous ACCOS generations for upgrade and retrofit. The ACCOS 30 is a multi-processor based process control system incorporating: A unique process control language A large memory capacity Open systems connectivity EMC compliant design The system consists of several modules, each dedicated to a specific task.

Sequence Controller

This module accommodates APV's application programming language called Paracode.

Interface Controller

This module scans plant interface and maintains item references.

  • Bitbus - connects to ACCOS I/O

• Maximum of 15,000 I/O per system
• Route I/O by wire or fibre optics
• Embedded functions for:
  • Valve feedback checking
  • PID self tuning
  • High speed (1 msec) I/O
  • Model based control

Network Controller

This module communicates with other systems over local area networks.

• Multiple networks supported:
  • Ethernet (TCP/IP)
  • Arcnet
  • Paranet
• Connects up to 32 ACCOS systems on one network
• Up to 4 networks on one system with transparent bridges
• Open access via TCP/IP protocol over Ethernet

Communications Controller

Up to 12 communication links (RS232 / 485 / 422) are available for connectivity to:

• Printers
• VDUs
• SCADA systems
• Weighers
• Intelligent instruments
• Other PLCs

It is APV's unique philosophy that, regardless of the ACCOS system you buy, it is capable of integration with all other ACCOS systems of older and latest generation models. This minimises equipment redundancy and, together with a guarantee to maintain production for a minimum of 10 years, allows for system expansion with maximum protection of your investment.
